SpringDesk gathers your desktop icons into boxes of clear glass that sit right on the wallpaper and look like they came with Windows 11. Every file you save or download to the desktop goes straight to a tab for its type, so the desktop stays tidy with nothing to set up. Press Space to look inside a file, or click the desktop and type to find anything. Tabs, roll-up, folder boxes, light and dark, frosted glass. Your files never move; SpringDesk only shows them in order. A one-time purchase in the Microsoft Store, with a 7-day free trial.

What's different about it

Made for Windows 11 only, so it looks like part of it: clear glass, Windows' own right-click menu, light and dark.
New files sort themselves into tabs by type (documents, spreadsheets, slides, PDFs, pictures and more), with an Inbox for the rest. Nothing to set up.
Press Space to look inside pictures, video, music, text and PDFs, like Quick Look on a Mac.
Type on the desktop to search every box, or press Ctrl+Alt+Space from anywhere.
